Delta College is looking for an adjunct instructor for the Surgical Technology program. Adjunct instructor will be responsible for teaching in-person section(s) at main campus and/or virtually.

Specific

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Understanding of and ability to work with a diverse student population

* Use of email, internet-based resources, and common Office software

* Ability to teach in a variety of formats, including incorporating online learning systems

* Understanding of ADA requirements and willingness to create accessible materials

* Effective interpersonal skills

* Understanding Delta Mission/Vision/Values

Required Qualifications

* Associate degree in Surgical Technology

* Health-related Bachelor degree

* Graduate of an education program in surgical technology that is also accredited by a nationally recognized programmatic accreditation agency.

* Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from the NBSAST

* BLS certification (current or upon hire)

* Minimum total of two years of experience, either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the past five years

Additional Experiences Considered

* Teaching experience in a Surgical Technology Program preferred.
