JOB LOCATION:
Harrison Middle School

REPORTS TO:
SPARKS Site Coordinator

WORK DAYS:
After school, 2.75 hours per day (positions available are 2-days/week and 4-days/week)

SALARY/WAGE:
$14.71 per hour

STARTING DATE:
As position is filled, with pre-service orientation prior to start.

JOB OBJECTIVE:
The Activity Leader will generally work with sessions of 15 students or less and will lead safe, engaging, and inclusive after school activities that promote positive youth development and support student growth. Site leaders will assist the Activity Leader in creating appropriate program session activities and projects based on student interest and program goals.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Experience working with students in corresponding grade levels preferred.
• Ability to lead and supervise activities and maintain a positive, safe and inclusive environment.
• Reliable attendance. As a condition of employment employee must pass a criminal background check.
