MiddleSchool Teacher (Guide)
Role Description
Bethel Community Education is seeking a full-time, on-site Middle School Guide for the 2026–2027 school year, located in Rockford, Michigan. This role focuses on walking alongside middle school learners during a formative season of growth by cultivating a Christ-like learning community grounded in trust, curiosity, and purposeful learning.
The Middle School Guide designs and facilitates engaging, hands-on learning experiences that honor where each learner is while preparing them for their next step beyond middle school - spiritually, socially, emotionally, and academically. This position partners closely with colleagues and families to support learners as whole people.
Qualifications- Experience designing curriculum that meets learners where they are and supports readiness for their next phase of learning beyond middle school
- Understanding of adolescent development and a passion for working with middle school learners
- Patience, flexibility, and creativity when working with young adolescents
- Collaborative mindset when partnering with colleagues and families
- Passion to use educational gifts in a nontraditional school environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of age-appropriate developmental practices
- Previous middle school experience preferred
