Little Huskies Care Center located on the campus of Michigan Tech University in Houghton, MI is now accepting applications for full and part-time Infant/Toddler Teachers!

$1000 SIGNING BONUS offered during 1st year of employment for full-time (40 hours/week).

Regular work schedule options are Monday through Friday: 7:45‑4:45, 8:00‑5:00, 8:15‑5:15, or 11‑5:15.

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Infant/Toddler Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for young children.

• Develop and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Assess and monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
• Organize and participate in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.

• CDA, associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience working with young children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for teaching young children.
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
