: PT Lab Assistant in Aviation Maintenance Technology. Hours per week up to 28.

Responsibilities- Functions as the secondary source of instruction in the lab or workshop in support of the instructor of record.
- Assist students in completing lab projects by providing necessary instruction.
- Ensure the lab/workshop is set up and prepared with all required tools and materials for the assigned class.
- Maintain expendable/consumable supplies and keep tools and equipment in appropriate working order.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lab/shop.
- Collaborate with students and peers to establish a safe environment where safety is not compromised.
- Demonstrate knowledge of airframe, engine and general aviation topics.
- Perform additional duties as assigned in connection with the overall running of the Aviation Maintenance Program.

- Associate’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED with minimum two (2) years’ relevant industry experience.
- Federal Aviation Administration certified Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic license.
