Youth Director - Job Description
Life Bridge Church
Part-time hourly, 18-20 hours per week. Mostly in-person responsibilities, especially on Sundays (Services and Evening programs) and Staff Meetings
Responsibilities- Engage Teens and Families at Life Bridge — Connect with families and teens on Sunday Mornings in services and programming (including the pre-teen Bridge Kids program)
- Engage Teens and Families at Life Bridge — Be present and participate in family-inclusive events at Life Bridge (Baptism, Trunk or Treat, Cookouts, etc.)
- Engage Teens and Families at Life Bridge — Reasonably connect with teens and families at community events (sports games, graduations, camp, etc)
- Engage Teens and Families at Life Bridge — Collaborate with the Bridge Kids Director to develop pathways for family engagement
- Develop and Execute Teen Programming — Work with the Pastor of Ministries and existing volunteers to develop and create teen programming with a focus on discipleship and positive childhood experiences
- Develop and Execute Teen Programming — Utilize and implement Orange curriculum
- Develop and Execute Teen Programming — Organizes and manages necessary details for positive outcomes
- Develop and Execute Teen Programming — Manage the youth budget
- Develop and Execute Teen Programming — Identify roadblocks, anticipate needs, and provide solutions
- Develop and Execute Teen Programming — Lead camp scholarship application process
- Develop and Execute Teen Programming — Lead Lake Ann Camp week 5 process

EXPERIENCE: Previous work experience in a youth-related environment required, church environment preferred
EDUCATION: High school diploma required, additional education preferred
SKILLS: Training and experience with church tools and programs preferred
BODY LIFE: Must demonstrate qualities of a disciple of Jesus Christ. Must be involved in Life Bridge with regular Sunday worship attendance
RESIDENCE: Living in/near South Haven preferred
