We believe in the importance of early childhood education and are actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our Clarkston team.

• Status:
  Regular, full-time (40 hours/week)
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday (8am-5pm)
• Pay rate: $15-$20/hour (based on certification or degree and years of experience)
• Location:
  
  Onsite, Clarkston, MI

• CDA (Child Development Associate) credential, required
• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in early childhood education, child development or a child-related field, preferred
• Minimum of one year experience in a toddler classroom, required
• CPR Certification
• Willing to pursue higher education in accordance with NAEYC and Michigan Child Care Licensing guidelines for ECE Teachers

• Ensures overall safety of children
• Develops and implements daily lesson plans based on individual students’ needs and interests
• Implements High Scope curriculum, philosophy, and assessment tools
• Conducts parent-teacher conferences
• Complies with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures
• Attends Heartfelt Impressions company/school meetings
• Partners with parents and assists students regarding 'Toilet Learning' approaches
• Participates in snack and meal service Family Style Dining
• Ensures cleaning tasks are completed
• Ensures the classroom is engaging and developmentally age appropriate
