Proctor

Overview

Work alongside course faculty to proctor in-person examinations in classrooms and/or auditoriums and proctor 1-1 or small groups of students receiving disability-related accommodations.

• Work alongside Nursing course faculty to proctor in-person examinations in classrooms and/or auditoriums
• Proctor 1-1 or small groups of students receiving disability-related accommodations
• Be familiar with academic integrity protocols -- e.g. distance, seating, focused attention, exam start/stop time policies
• Be able to confront and report suspected behaviors allegedly in violation of academic integrity policies and department testing policies.

• High School Diploma, college degree preferred

• Sensitivity in communications with faculty, students, and other staff
• Ability to follow integrity protocols
• Collaborative working style
• Work experience in any educational or administrative capacity
  
  When necessary, will proctor an exam in another campus of Touro University

• Able to lift up to 5 lbs.
• Extensive time sitting and standing
• Be able to accommodate a schedule that varies according to student test days/times (per semester)
