Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician Needed Near Watton, MI (j-227042) Are you a motivated Emergency Medicine physician seeking a locum tenens opportunity to provide exceptional care in a dynamic outpatient setting? We're searching for a qualified physician to join our team and ensure high-quality patient care during a short-term staffing need. What You'll Do:
Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of acute illnesses and injuries in an outpatient emergency department setting. Develop effective treatment plans and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals. Perform essential procedures as needed to stabilize patients. Maintain meticulous documentation within the Meditech electronic medical record system. Collaborate effectively with nurses, technicians, and other team members. Foster a positive and professional work environment.

Qualifications:

Board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (preferred) or Board-certified in Family Medicine. Active medical license in the state of Michigan (MI only). Current ACLS and PALS certifications. BLS certification (minimum). Minimum of 30 days for credentialing. Strong clinical skills and a comprehensive knowledge base. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. ASAP - Ongoing (assignment ends July 31, 2024) Coverage includes major holidays (4th of July, Thanksgiving, etc.) This critical access hospital does not require Emergency Medicine board certification;
