Required Skills:
Board certification in Emergency Medicine Valid medical license for Michigan Proven experience in emergency department settings Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage diverse patient cases Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure Nice to Have
Skills:
Bilingual abilities
Experience with shift management and rapid decision-making Familiarity with hospital and radiology systems Previous locum or temporary physician experience Preferred
Education and Experience:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine practice Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications Active Michigan medical license or license eligible Other Requirements:
Ability to cover varied 12-hour shifts, including nights and holidays Completion of immunization requirements (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Flu, COVID, TB, Tdap) Compliance with occupational health clearances Use of Doc Time for clocking in/out; no timesheets accepted Willingness to travel within the defined assignment dates This position offers an hourly rate of $0.00 (rates to submit, including malpractice coverage), with orientation hours compensated at half the hourly rate.
