Emergency Medicine Physician

Join a dynamic medical facility located in West Branch, Michigan, seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine physician. This facility is approximately 56 miles from McLaren Bay Hospital and features a full emergency department staff ready to support your practice. With an annual ER volume of 9,000 patients, you will be at the forefront of providing essential emergency care in a well-equipped environment.

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in a high-volume emergency department.
• Supervise and coordinate with the full ED staff.
• Participate in patient admissions and transfers as needed.
• Utilize the Cerner EHR system for patient documentation.
• Conduct necessary procedures and skills as outlined in the practice description.
• Assist in managing cases and providing fast track care where applicable.
• Work a 24-hour shift schedule, including weekends.

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (No Board Eligible candidates).
• Internal Medicine or Family Medicine candidates with over 2 years of recent EM experience will be considered.
• Valid Michigan medical license at the time of application.
• BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications required.
• Must have a clean background for expedited credentialing.
• Local candidates preferred with a willingness to accommodate full availability.

• Michigan Medical License (No exceptions or IMLC accepted).
• BLS (Basic Life Support).
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support).
• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (required).
