Physician - Corewell Health Primary Care - St Joseph, MI

Corewell Health Primary Care St Joseph is seeking a full-time physician to join our dedicated team in Southwest Michigan. Loan repayment offers are available.

Board status: Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine. The compensation package includes a two-year salary guarantee with potential bonuses based on productivity and a starting bonus.

Appointments of 15 or 30 minutes include acute visits, follow-ups, physical exams, new patients, pediatric care, paps and pelvic exams, and typical primary care procedures such as I&D and joint injections. The team includes 1 physician and 2 full-time APPs. Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm. No weekends.

, a generative AI platform for clinical conversations, which allows you to focus on your patients and improve efficiency. Corewell Health utilizes EPIC as our EHR.

• Assesses and monitors the medical needs of patients/significant others.
• Provides quality medical services to patients in a cost-effective, appropriate manner and ensures coverage of case load at all times.
• Provides input into the development of policies and procedures related to medical practice and quality patient care.
• Provides oversight of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners and others providing delegated services to patients.
• Evaluates patients’, significant others’, and staff educational needs and develops/implements appropriate teaching strategies or delegates to appropriate resources.
• Documents in a manner consistent with regulatory standards.
• Communicates with other members of the health care team to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services. Acts as a patient/family advocate.
• Participates in ongoing process improvement activities through clinical paths, process improvement, and related activities.

Actively works with Corewell Health to meet financial and patient satisfaction goals.
