Overview
Assurant is currently looking to hire an online Chat Specialist
! Be a part of a hard-working team in Rapid City, SD that likes to have fun while delivering outstanding world class service! Support the organization’s extended warranty contract business by communicating with customers through live chat and email to answer questions, solve problems and troubleshoot our products and services.
- Receive and promptly respond to customers live chat inquiries and provide real time support to the customer.
- Actively listen to customer’s needs and concerns and communicate successful solutions to ensure the customer feels supported and valued.
- Work closely with customers and clients to create a positive, memorable online experience.
- Navigate multiple programs/software for information gathering, trouble shooting and customer resolution.
- Assist customers with site navigation.
- Ability to effectively multi-task.
- Strive to meet and exceed department metrics and business goals.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Must be within distance to our Rapid City, SD location.
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous customer service experience
- Ability to work an 8-hour shift, 40 hours a week, between the hours of 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
- Excellent customer service and written communication skills
- Ability to make good decisions and adapt to change
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent Attendance
- Positive attitude
- Team Player
- Basic Computer Skills
$17.34 - $27.75
