Day in the Life as a Parts and Service Associate

As a Parts and Service Associate, you will serve customers by:

  • Providing information and answering questions about ABS products and services
  • Creating spare parts lists for customers
  • Processing customer orders
  • Answering and routing phone calls
  • Monitoring open orders and contacting existing and prospective customers to communicate features, benefits, and technical aspects of products
  • Coordinating with project management, shipping/receiving, and field service to provide the best customer experience
Qualifications for a Parts and Service Associate
  • Independent self‑starter with energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and persistence
  • Customer‑centered and detail oriented; exceptional phone, computer, and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, processing time‑sensitive information from multiple sources, making decisions and effectively communicating the required actions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accuracy
  • Proficient computer skills; CRM/database/Microsoft Office suite and online communications
  • Use of logic and reasoning in daily decision making and problem solving
  • Two years of work experience in service, parts, or customer support preferred
Work Schedule

The typical schedule for this full‑time position is Monday – Thursday from 6 am to 3:30 pm and a half day on Friday with weekends free.
