About the Role:

Creative Dining Services at Brose New Boston is seeking a full time 3rd Shift Cashier. The 3rd shift cashier plays a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient financial transactions during overnight operations. This position is responsible for accurately processing customer payments, handling cash, and maintaining balanced registers to support the business's financial integrity. The role requires vigilance and attention to detail to prevent errors and discrepancies while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

As a key point of contact during the third shift, the cashier contributes to maintaining a safe and organized workspace, supporting overall operational success. This position is essential for sustaining continuous business services and ensuring customer satisfaction during non-traditional hours.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred but not required.
• Ability to work overnight shifts consistently and reliably.
• Strong attention to detail and integrity in handling financial transactions.

• Experience working in a business services or retail environment.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash register operations.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure during busy periods.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control and stock management.

• Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently during the 3rd shift.
• Maintain balanced cash drawers and prepare end-of-shift financial reports.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to cash handling and security.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed during the shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to promote a safe working environment.
• Report any discrepancies, suspicious activities, or equipment malfunctions to management immediately.
