Graphic Designer

Location: Bloomfield Hills

Description We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join a dynamic team in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. This contract-to-permanent role offers a hybrid work schedule, combining onsite collaboration and remote flexibility. The ideal candidate will contribute to impactful projects for a not-for-profit organization that supports the Metro-Detroit community through events, advocacy, and education. This position is perfect for someone eager to grow their design skills while working on diverse creative campaigns.

Responsibilities:

- Design and produce engaging visual content across various media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand standards.

- Collaborate with a creative team to develop and refine marketing materials for community-focused initiatives.

- Assist in the execution of campaigns, including production-heavy tasks and original conceptual work.

- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and provide design support for an involved board and staff.

- Create high-quality event collateral for large-scale gatherings ranging from 15 to 600 attendees.

- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to produce visually appealing designs; motion graphics experience with After Effects is a plus.

- Implement strong typography skills to maintain a consistent, type-driven brand identity.

- Leverage AI tools for creative brainstorming and innovation in design projects.

- Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

- Participate in feedback sessions and embrace opportunities for growth. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of graphic design experience, preferably in a collaborative environment.

- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Creative Cloud; familiarity with After Effects is an advantage.

- Strong knowledge of typography and its application in brand-driven designs.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

- Experience using project management tools such as Asana.

- Exceptional adaptability, teamwork, and openness to feedback.

- Willingness to work onsite three days a week (Tuesday-Thursday) with occasional remote flexibility.
