Auxiliares & Services Purchasing Buyer

Brembo North America, a world leader and innovator in the design and manufacturing of braking systems and components, is seeking an Auxiliaries & Services Purchasing Buyer for the Homer, Michigan location.

• Responsible for a group of Sub-Categories for Auxiliaries & Services for the Homer, MI plant in USA;
• Working in a cross functional Team with the Global Purchasing Dept, Local Operations, Quality and Logistic;
• Responsible to develop and implement the purchasing strategy on Auxiliaries & Services in order to maximize the company’s results;
• Responsible to develop and design a proper supplier base in USA in accordance to the guidelines of the Auxiliary & Services Coordinator and the Global Commodity Manager, in terms of cost competitiveness, quality, service & innovation;
• Responsible to identify risks and opportunities involved in each sourcing process
• Reports to the Plant Auxiliary & Services Coordinator
• In-depth experience of Purchasing, at least 2 years, in a multi-country environment and complex Purchasing Organizations, handling MRO and Facility Management.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Purchasing best practice. Experience in Automotive Companies.
• Ability to work in a truly global organization. Proven experience of working in a fast moving and result driven environment which demands to work under pressure most of the time.

• Degree qualified preferably in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Business or other relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of other languages is desirable.
