Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive maintenance on robotic systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues in robotic cells and automated equipment.
- Install, calibrate, and commission new robotic systems and peripheral equipment in manufacturing lines.
- Modify and update robot programs (e.g., path adjustments, I/O configurations) to support production changes or improvements.
- Conduct functional tests and inspections of robotic systems after maintenance or repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when working with high-voltage equipment and moving machinery.
- Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA).
- Strong understanding of PLC logic, ladder diagrams, and HMI systems for automation control.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.
- Proven experience with preventative and corrective maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for robot guidance or inspection.
- Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python) for data analysis or automation tasks.
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and basic IT troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles in an industrial setting.
- Experience with robot simulation software or offline programming tools.
