Responsibilities
- Perform data entry of charges that need to be applied to a vehicle before it sells, and verify that information is accurately recorded.
- Maintain documentation and verification of invoices to ensure the correct amount on the work orders compared to actual invoice cost.
- Respond to department inquiries relating to the status of parts and vehicle repair, provide quality service, and assist in resolving problems.
- Communicate with departments and management on a daily basis to ensure all information is received and posted before a sale.
- Submit estimates via email to proper accounts.
- Maintain current knowledge of account contracts relating to posting.
- Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 - 3 years of clerical or administrative experience in automotive industry preferred.
- Valid drivers license and good driving record required.
- Good communication and organizational skills required.
- Basic computer software skills necessary.
- Must be able to use general office equipment (i.e., copier, fax machine, etc.).
- Good leadership skills required; must be able to lead and motivate people.
- Self-managed and directed.
- Medium strength; ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Stooping, bending, twisting, climbing stairs, pushing/pulling, walking and reaching may be required for the completion of job duties.
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks, manual dexterity. Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception.
Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment. May be required to sit for long periods of time at a desk or a computer terminal with the use of calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday. Occasional exposure to high noise level.
CompensationCompensation:
Hourly base pay rate is $16.59 - $24.86/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
BenefitsEmployees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
