Position Title: Staff Accountant

Position Responsibilities

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Support preparation of internal financial statements and analysis.

Including monthly journal entries and key account reconciliations.

· Update cash forecast regularly to reflect current financial status. Monitor and update planned receipts and payments.

· Prepare progress billings for large projects and invoicing.

· Track project budgets and post project wrap-up reporting.

· Support Accounts Receivable collections and credit monitoring.

· Provide backup support in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll.

· Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and provide variance analysis.

· Use a variety of computer programs including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and the company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.

· Works to consistently meet and exceed customer and Belco management requirements

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

· Minimum of two years’ experience in accounting or finance.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.

Compensation: Salary, pay based on experience.
