As a Security Officer - Flex Patrol Driver in Michigan City, IN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries including Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more:  You will monitor and patrol designated chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a visible presence.

This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the property by vehicle as required. You will also provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with clients and visitors, and contribute to a secure and welcoming environment, embodying our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time, Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor for and report any security-related hazards or concerns specific to the chemical and petrochemical environment.
• Interact with employees, visitors, and contractors to provide assistance and enforce site access policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site guidelines.

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver s license will be required for driving positions only.
