Diemaking trainee

Manufacturing of steel rule cutting dies produced to specific CAD designs using various types of manual and automated equipment. Assembly of components relevant to the cutting die product lines.

• Use various types of manual and automated equipment to manipulate materials specific, not limited to, cutting die products.
• Use calibration tools to properly ensure machine and tool tolerances.
• Assemble proprietary products from pre-cut materials.
• Read blueprints and CAD files to accurately assemble custom tools.
• Lifting and handling of wood, metal pieces and tooling.
• Maintain equipment preventative maintenance schedule logs.
• Understand and use safety equipment reflective of department.
• Complete and fulfill paperwork required for personal time sheets in a timely manner.
• Cross-train and support other production departments.
• Able to organize assigned tasks for completion alone or with help.
• Treat all Marbach information and customer information in a confidential manner.
• Inform supervisor of problems or issues which affect the company’s ability to meet customer requirements.
• Work in Department Quality Control.
• Work in shifts.

• Able to stand for long periods and be adaptable to a changing work environment.
• Lifting and handling of wood, metal pieces and tooling.
• Able to perform repetitive motions and must have strong finger dexterity.

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read blue prints
• Basic metal working background
