As a Production Assembler at Product Company Indiana, you will play a key role in satisfying our customers’ needs by assembling industrial vacuum equipment safely, in good quality, on-time, and efficiently.

You will

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures with strict adherence to the CORE safety rules
  • Report risk observations, near misses, and incidents on time
  • Use all necessary PPE required for the assigned job
  • Perform all tasks with a “First Time Right” mindse
  • Use product work instructions, mechanical/electrical drawings, engineering bill of materials and routings, and standard operations and quality guidelines to complete all assembly work to required specifications
  • Follow all quality checkpoints, complete required paperwork and documents, adhere to all dimensional layout requirements of the assembly by accurately measuring and checking throughout the process
  • Identify and escalation any part quality issues or engineering errors to your supervisor immediately
  • Support 6S initiatives to keep the workplace neat, clean, and safe
  • Maintain discipline in your work area (breaks, rules, rework, etc.)
  • Respect job order due dates and routing times (efficiency and on-time delivery)
  • Support rework and repair when needed
  • Be agile and flexible in your job assignments to support customer order needs through job order priority changes and/or work assignment changes
  • Respect and improve standard assembly times, capture your hours worked towards job orders daily, understand and communicate any time losses that occur

  • Education and experiences:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in production assembly or a related field
    • Proven ability to handle complex, large-scale assemblies with precision and efficiency and effective use of appropriate hand and power tools
    • Assembly Experience with the ability to install and align motors/gearboxes/pumps, perform extensive piping runs, and install valves and instrumentation to engineering drawings and specifications
    • Demonstrated ability to interpret complex assembly instructions from blueprints/drawings
    • Ability to read and interpret measurement devices including but not limited to tape measures, calipers, micrometers, pressure/level/temeperature gauges and devices, vibration monitors, etc.
    • Strong technical skills and problem-solving capabilities to work independently and adapt quickly
    • Ability to contribute immediately without extensive training or supervision
