Join Our Team as an Events Recreation Team Member This Year at Miamisburg Parks & Recreation!

The City of Miamisburg is looking for hardworking, team‑oriented individuals to join our Events Team for the 2026 season! This position supports the operation of special events and the Traveling Playground Program by assisting in the development of, and execution of, a variety of youth games, sports, and activities.

Our season runs from May through August, and we’re seeking reliable team members who enjoy working outdoors, with children, and executing large events.

Applicants must be at least 15 years old.

The Recreation Team Member is responsible for the execution, facilitation, and safety of youth at our Traveling Playground program and onsite community event execution. Essential responsibilities include day‑to‑day guidance and leadership of youth and assistance at large community events.

Events Recreation Team Members will support Events Coordinators by:

• Leading and executing the Traveling Playground Program
• Assisting in set up and tear down of special events

This is hands‑on, active work that’s service focused and central to the success of the Traveling Playground Program and our special events in our community.

Compensation for this position is $12.00 to $16.00 per hour, DOQ. Expected hours per week: 15.
