The Assembler II – Modular is responsible for assembling complex modular data center components and subassemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical assembly processes, the ability to troubleshoot issues, and consistent adherence to safety and quality expectations in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
Assembler II employees are expected to work with minimal supervision, support less experienced assemblers, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Assist with general construction, assembly, and installation activities under supervision.
- Support modular assembly with staging, preparation, and material handling.
- Perform basic tasks such as loading materials, handling tools, and maintaining clean work areas.
- Assist with installation of racks, containment systems, cabling pathways, and related components.
- Support basic electrical tasks such as pulling wire and mounting boxes under supervision.
- Operate hand tools and basic power tools safely.
- Follow all job site safety rules and immediately report unsafe conditions.
- Participate in safety meetings and required training programs.
- Learn to read and follow basic drawings and supervisor instructions.
- Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and willingness to learn multiple trades.
- No prior trade experience required; general labor or construction experience preferred.
- Interest in developing a career in construction or electrical trades.
- Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel and work in various environments - Preferred
- Basic hand tool familiarity preferred.
- High School degree or GED required.

Employees must be able to talk, hear, and frequently sit, with occasional standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Regular lifting up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs is required. Vision requirements include close and color vision and focus adjustment. Work may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, chemicals, electrical hazards, and explosives.
Noise levels can be very loud, requiring ear protection.
