Your Impact
The Cycle Counter is responsible for performing regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy of stock records, identifying discrepancies, and supporting inventory control processes. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory integrity, minimizing loss, and supporting operational efficiency.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and ad hoc cycle counts of inventory items
- Verify physical inventory against system records (WMS/ERP)
- Investigate, document, and report inventory discrepancies
- Assist in root cause analysis of variances (receiving errors, picking errors, damage, theft, etc.)
- Adjust inventory records as authorized and in accordance with company procedures
- Coordinate with warehouse, receiving, shipping, and production teams to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate count documentation and audit trails
- Ensure inventory counting is completed without disrupting operations
- Follow safety, quality, and inventory control standards
- Support annual physical inventory counts as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics
- Strong math and data entry skills
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, ideally Epicor ERP
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and follow procedures
- Experience with cycle counting programs
- Prior experience in manufacturing or distribution environments
- Understanding of inventory accuracy metrics (e.g., shrink, variance)

Employees must be able to talk, hear, and frequently sit, with occasional standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Regular lifting up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs is required. Vision requirements include close and color vision and focus adjustment. Work may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, chemicals, electrical hazards, and explosives.
Noise levels can be very loud, requiring ear protection.
