The Internship Program focuses on cultivating future talent through experiential on-the-job learning, exposure to business leaders, and a supportive team environment. The RFID Applications Engineer Co-Op will join our North American team in the summer of 2026 and support product engineers working on RFID tags, printer systems, and RFID reader systems operating in the HF and UHF bands.
The work environment will be primarily an office or application lab, using automated RFID test systems and RFID printer/reader systems. The role requires an understanding of engineering disciplines and scientific processes to support testing, data collection, data organization, and reporting.
The program serves as a talent pipeline for our Early Careers Program.
What you will be doing- Working directly with engineers and influencing product development and customer use case decisions
- Obtaining deep knowledge of RFID technology to enable the Internet of Things, Blockchain and Omni-Channel fulfillment
- Working as part of a technical team with professionals trained on testing methods, data analysis, and reporting in spreadsheets, and generating technical and customer-facing reports

QualificationsWhat you will need to bring to the program:
Education
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a focus on Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical engineering
Preferred Experience
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel or Google equivalents
- General familiarity with electronic systems and introductory programming
- Experience through student organizations such as Engineers Without Borders, ASME, ASCE, SWE, NSBE, SHPE, etc.
- Volunteerism or similar activities
Requirements
- Must be willing to join during at least two semesters, including one non-summer term
* Must have reliable transportation to and from work
* Sponsorship is not available now or in the future
Travel
- Ability to travel 10 - 20 percent of the time
The hourly salary for this position is $24.50 - $26.50 per hour, depending on academic standing.
The salary range is indicative and may vary based on factors including skills, experience, education, and location.
