RFID Applications Engineering Co-Op (Fall 2026)

We are seeking an RFID Applications Engineer Co‑Op to join our business in North America during the Fall of 2026. You will be responsible for providing support for product engineers working on the development of RFID tags, printer systems, and RFID reader systems operating in the HF and UHF bands. The work environment will be primarily an office or application lab.

You will use various automated RFID test systems and RFID printer and reader systems. Work activities require an understanding of engineering disciplines and scientific processes sufficient to support testing, data collection, data organization, and reporting.

• Working directly with engineers and influencing product development and customer use‑case decisions.
• Obtaining deep knowledge of RFID technology which can be a critical link for enabling the Internet of Things, Blockchain and omni‑channel fulfillment.
• Working as part of a technical team environment, with professionals trained on testing methods, critical thinking, data analysis and reporting in spreadsheets, and generating technical and customer‑facing reports.

• Education: Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a focus on Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical engineering.
• Preferred Experience:
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel or Google equivalent.
  • General familiarity with electronic systems and an introductory programming background.
  • Experience via student organizations such as Engineers without Borders, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, ACS, Society of Women Engineers, National Society of Black Engineers, etc.
  • Volunteerism or similar activities.
• Requirements:
  • Must be willing to join for at least two semesters, including one non‑summer term.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
  • Ability to travel 10–20 % of the time.

Internships and Co‑Ops are paid and relocation assistance is available to those that qualify.

The hourly wage for this position is $24.50–$27.00 per hour, based on academic level. The hourly salary may vary within the range based on skills, experience and location.
