Position: Manager, Commercial Aerobarrier

Aeroseal is looking for a commercial leader to rapidly develop and grow our Commercial Aero Barrier offering. This hands‑on leader will be responsible for developing and implementing Aeroseal’s commercial strategy for our Aero Barrier product in North America including go‑to‑market strategy and project execution model. The goal will be to grow this new commercial business line from a nascent business to a multi‑million‑dollar business in a short time.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record developing and executing go‑to‑market strategies for new products in the commercial building technology and energy efficiency markets, will be a proven, hands‑on team builder and manager of small teams, and will be comfortable working cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced start‑up environment. The position will be based out of Aeroseal’s headquarters Miamisburg, Ohio and report to the VP/GM of Commercial.

25-50% travel will be required for business development / sales.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • A strong track record selling new building efficiency technology products in commercial and institutional markets in North America. Experience launching and scaling a new building efficiency technology product in North America is preferred.
  • Past success building and leading high‑performing economic and technical sales teams of at least 3-5 people and working cross‑functionally to ensure successful project execution.
  • Experience establishing processes and tools to scale go‑to‑market activities such as defining and implementing sales processes, implementing processes to hire, onboard, and develop salespeople, and defining and tracking leading and lagging sales metrics using a CRM system.
  • Experience and basic technical acumen in commercial building ventilation and envelope systems; hardware, construction‑tech, or industrial tech experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, collaboration, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to start as a team of one to set the strategy and generate the first few meaningful sales and then, after initial successes, build out a team to scale the business.
  • At least 3 years in a similar role with a demonstrated track record of success.
  • An ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
  • Technical and/or business degree preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, implement, and refine a go‑to‑market strategy for commercial Aero Barrier including developing value propositions, defining target customers and buyer personas, selecting and optimizing sales channels, defining marketing requirements, and creating pricing strategies.
  • Establish internal processes and tools to scale Commercial Aero Barrier including creating sales processes, defining and monitoring key performance metrics, developing and implementing hiring, onboarding, and people development processes, creating pricing policies, etc.
  • Hire, onboard, develop, and retain a high‑performing go‑to‑market team of economic and technical salespeople to increase sales through chosen sales channels.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to develop and implement annual and quarterly marketing plans to support Commercial Aero Barrier sales.
  • Collaborate closely with Field Operations and other teams as necessary to ensure the successful implementation of awarded projects to drive referral business and case study testimonials.
  • Develop and track key performance metrics for the Commercial Aero Barrier business line and implement continuous improvement measures to improve performance over time.
  • Gather, synthesize, and share market insights including competitive dynamics, pricing feedback, product performance, and regulatory trends with company leadership.
  • Develop annual business plans for the Commercial Aero Barrier business that result in meaningful year‑over‑year top‑and‑bottom‑line growth.
KEY SUCCESS METRICS
