Entry Level Mental Health Specialist Position Purpose
Participates in observing, reporting, and recording of patient behaviors under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse. Responsible for helping to provide a safe and secure environment and therapeutic milieu for patients and staff in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Basic Qualifications- Desire to work with children/adolescents as a positive role model
- Associate degree in behavioral science or related degree preferred
- One year psychiatric or general experience or equivalent preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- 21 years of age
Entry level $14.00
All positions require the ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
12 Hour shifts, every other weekend off
