Operations Manager
Light Fire is seeking a dedicated and energetic Team Lead to join our dynamic distribution warehouse team. This hands‑on role requires someone who leads by example, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. The ideal candidate will work closely with management to improve processes, lead by example, and ensure the team operates at peak efficiency.
This role involves all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, loss prevention, and physical tasks such as lifting, kneeling, and pushing. If you’re up for a challenge and enjoy working as part of a high‑performing team, we’d love to hear from you!
Available Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with management to optimize warehouse layouts, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency.
- Oversee and participate in warehouse replenishment and inventory consolidation activities.
- Train and support inventory staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to relocate or reassign slow‑moving products.
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and pushing as required.
- Drive continuous improvements in safety, efficiency, and operational accuracy.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours and weekends based on business needs.
- Compensation will be discussed with the hiring manager and is commensurate with experience.
- 2‑3 years of experience in a high‑volume pick, pack, and ship distribution environment.
- Familiarity with WMS systems and proven experience in inventory processes such as cycle counting and product movement.
- Order picking machine experience.
- Strong attention to detail, math skills, and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and pushing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Docs.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive, "can‑do" attitude.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
