Job Purpose

The coordinator ensures that the receiving, inventory controls, and storage conditions for production supplies used by Vivex Biologics, Inc. are maintained with adequate par levels and readily available. Ensures operations are GTP/GMP/AATB/FDA compliant.

As the Materials Management Coordinator, the role will oversee the receipt, inspection, and release of materials; manage inventory to ensure FIFO/FEFO, timely re-order of supplies, and accurate documentation; support the assembly and release of pouch kits; and coordinate shipments to and from the third‑party warehouse.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform receipt and release of materials following the department’s SOPs, ensuring proper inspection, receipt of COA’s/MSDS’s, labeling, and compliance with storage conditions.
  • Assist the Sr. Coordinator in managing inventory to ensure FIFO/FEFO, stock rotation, timely re-order of supplies, physical inventory/cycle counts, expiration dating, and identification/documentation of obsolete materials for destruction.
  • Support the execution of assembly and release of pouch kits to assure sterilization and traceability.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all material inventory transfers.
  • Collaborate with recovery agencies to guarantee recovery supplies are sent to appropriate locations in a timely manner.
  • Prepare shipments and receive shipments from the third‑party warehouse as needed.
  • Maintain an organized and properly labeled inventory room.
  • Confirm package deliveries are received by the correct recipient and on time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

High School diploma and 1‑2 years of Materials Management, Inventory Management, or warehouse experience preferred.

Working Conditions

Majority of the work is performed indoors, standing, and walking throughout the facility. Must have a good driving record, as driving may be required. Occasional warehouse work if needed.

Physical Requirements

The ability to lift boxes up to, but not limited to, 50 lbs. The ability to use hand trucks and pallet jacks, both manual and automatic. Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
