Sweeper Truck And Water Truck Driver Operator

Overview

Central Civil Construction is seeking a dependable and safety-driven Sweeper Truck / Water Truck Driver Operator to support our construction and environmental operations. This role is responsible for operating specialized trucks for roadway sweeping, and dust control.

This is a hands-on position that combines driving responsibilities with field labor support. Candidates must be willing to work outside the truck and assist crews as needed on active job sites.

Equipment Operation

• Safely operate sweeper trucks & water trucks.
• Perform roadway sweeping, dust suppression, and job site cleanup
• Spray water on roadways and construction areas to control dust
• Perform tank entry, cleaning, and vacuum operations
• Assist with hazardous waste cleanup and material handling
• Support environmental and emergency response tasks as assigned

Logistics & Transport

• Drive company vehicles from yard to job sites following all DOT regulations
• Load and unload water or materials at designated facilities

Equipment Maintenance & Safety

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Fill trucks from designated water sources; locate alternate sources when necessary
• Report mechanical issues promptly
• Participate in safety meetings and comply with all company safety policies

Field Support

• Assist labor crews as needed
• Help mobilize equipment and maintain clean, hazard-free job sites
• Work efficiently without disrupting other crews or operations

• CDL (Required)
• Hazmat Endorsement (Preferred / Optional)
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (Required)
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol screening and background check
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor
• Strong work ethic and reliability
