Local Class A CDL Driver Required — Miami, FL

We are a growing company that manufactures delicious desserts that we sell to our retail locations and wholesale partners. We are based out of Miami, FL. Fireman Derek’s Bakeshop is a rapidly expanding bakeshop with a fun working environment. We are known for making the best desserts in South Florida! We take pride in producing high-quality baked goods and it is our daily goal to put a smile on our customers' faces when they enjoy our delicious desserts.

• Guaranteed hours, paid weekly, health insurance available after 90 days of employment.

• Hospitality experience preferred.
• We are looking for a Part-time CDL Class A driver, to facilitate product delivery drops between our kitchen, 3 storefront locations, and warehouse facility.
• It will be the driver’s responsibility to prepare orders, safely load them into the truck, secure the carts in the truck, deliver/unload to its corresponding location.
• $23.50/hr Monday-Friday 7AM-4PM, Weekends off.
• We are looking for an individual that is willing to grow with the company and stay long-term.

• Ability to push and pull carts weighing 50-150 lbs.
• Responsibilities may include warehouse work, including loading and unloading of materials on to or off of trucks or into the warehouse as assigned.
• Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely.
• Treating customers and fellow employees in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conducting a safe work zone during each job site.
• Providing the customer with an invoice on completion of each delivery.
• This position does not require over-the-road travel.
• Working in a freezer loading and unloading pallets.

• Pre-employment drug screens and random drug screens are required pre pre-employment screening.
• CDL temp permit minimum requirement at hiring.
• CDL Class A required at hire or within 90 days of the start date.
• Fork-Lift Certified.
• Clean driving record; as required by the Department of Transportation.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
• Must speak English fluently.
• Must work well with others and have a strong teamwork ethic.

Fireman Derek’s Bakeshop is based out of Miami, FL with retail locations in iconic Wynwood, Coconut Grove, and Ft. Lauderdale.
