This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida, Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
Responsibilities- Resolve shipments that arrive with no paperwork or missing important details like the ship’s name, PO number, department name, includes Amazon shipments.
- Act as liaison between corporate port operations and the warehouse for our destination ports.
- Process returns to vendor freight via the mailroom and other logistic partners.
- Monitor and complete vendor access lists for our homeports.
- Review container and airfreight pre-alerts for bulk shipments and overweight, oversized items.
- Prepare pallet counts for frozen/chilled food consolidations and order trailers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds.
- Bilingual with the ability to speak and write English and Spanish. Great communication skills and open-minded for new ideas.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years related experience or training in warehouse operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of keeping track and logging of orders to support reverse logistics.
- Knowledge in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able and certified to operate a forklift.
- Understanding movements over the road or via air. Having worked in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Having the knowledge of how to operate different types of forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment. Able to safely operate different types of equipment to move freight.

- Paid Time Off:

Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 84 hours/year. All employees gain additional vacation time with further tenure.
- Sick Time – All full-time employees receive 80 hours of sick time each year. Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 60 hours each year.
