Import​/Export Sales Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Export specialist who is bilingual in English and Spanish to oversee and coordinate international shipments, with a strong focus on Central America, South America, and the Caribbean
. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of export documentation, international shipping processes, and compliance requirements, and can manage shipments from order to delivery efficiently and accurately. Must be sales oriented; candidates will be responsible for visiting local customers and visiting our international customers a couple times a year. We are the leading dry cleaning & laundry distributor in Florida and in international countries.

• Manage all aspects of export operations for assigned regions (Central & South America, Bahamas) along with sales, local and international.
• Prepare, review, and verify export documentation, including:
  • Commercial Invoices
  • Packing Lists
  • Bills of Lading (B/L)
  • Certificates of Origin
  • Export declarations and other required documents
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and destination‑country import requirements.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, or customs issues.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and reporting.
• Stay current on international trade regulations and regional logistics practices.
• Maintain good relationships with all customers.

• 3+ years of experience in export or international logistics.
• Strong knowledge of export documentation and international shipping procedures.
• Hands‑on experience shipping to Central America, South America, and/or the Caribbean
  .
• Familiarity with Incoterms and international freight methods (air, ocean).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a must.
• Sales oriented.
