Import Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Import Coordinator to join our operations team. This role is responsible for managing international shipments, ensuring compliance with all import regulations, and providing excellent customer service to clients and partners.

• Coordinate and monitor air and ocean import shipments from origin to final delivery.
• Communicate daily with clients, overseas agents, carriers, and customs brokers.
• Prepare, review, and process import documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, arrival notices, etc.).
• Track shipments and proactively update clients on status and delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with Brokers, U.S. Customs and partner government agency regulations.
• Verify and process vendor and carrier invoices for accuracy.
• Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and other operational issues.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and data in the company’s system.

• 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding or international logistics (import operations preferred).
• Strong understanding of customs clearance procedures and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or Portuguese) a plus.
