CDL Shuttle Driver; DOT

An SP+ Shuttle Driver DOT will be responsible for the proper and safe operation of shuttle buses and transporting passengers, ensuring they get to their destination efficiently, safely, and seamlessly.

• Go above and beyond to deliver an exceptional client and customer experience guided by the SP+ Promise, including answering questions, offering city directions, and ensuring each interaction is positive.
• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.
• Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
• Possess a valid state‑issued driver’s license carried with you at all times, while on duty.
• Maintain a clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.
• Hold an acceptable DMV record.
• Report any accidents, violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc. to the garage office.
• Substitute for Cashiers or Valets when authorized.
• Have thorough knowledge of garage areas, major streets, landmarks, and freeways to assist customers.
• Assist customers with luggage and other items in airport locations.
• Assist Facility Manager with additional duties as needed.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Less than high school education or one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Per DOT regulations, you must have and maintain a valid CDL Class A, B, or C Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement.

A Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.

Shift requirements may vary. Availability for 3rd shift or weekends may be required.

Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondences; present information in one‑on‑one situations to customers and employees.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide two‑digit numbers, and perform calculations with U.S. currency.

Employees must maintain a neat, clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.

Stand, walk, use hands to handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit or climb; may lift up to 75 pounds. Reasonable accommodations can be made for disabilities.
