Lead SAP Engineer

Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineer (Custom Applications & Integration) to spearhead the design, development, integration, and maintenance of our custom-built applications and ensure seamless connectivity with our existing enterprise systems. This role will be pivotal in driving our digital transformation initiatives by delivering robust, scalable, and efficient solutions that meet our unique business needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, proven leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset to navigate complex integration landscapes.

You will lead and mentor a team of custom application developers and integration specialists within the implementation partner team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of custom application development, from design to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The client is looking for someone to come onsite in their Miami office.

• 8+ years of overall relevant SAP experience
• 2+ years of experience leading BTP platform development
• 4+ years of experience in SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
• 4+ years of experience in SAP Fiori / SAPUI5
• Experience with using SAP Build Code for full-stack BTP application development
• Experience implementing integrations with SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh)
• Experience with Node.js/Java/Python, SAPUI5 / Fiori Elements, and HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ReactJS
• Experience with Identity & Access Management
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying custom applications using various programming languages and frameworks (e.g., BTP, Java, Python, .NET, JavaScript frameworks)
