L&M National Equipment Sales specializes in providing diesel truck sales and comprehensive maintenance services to owner-operators and fleet companies in the Miami, Florida area. Our expertise focuses on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repair solutions for heavy-duty and commercial trucks. We prioritize DOT compliance, inspection readiness, and resolving mechanical issues across engines, aftertreatment systems, brakes, suspension, electrical, cooling, and drivetrain components. By emphasizing efficiency and safety, we aim to minimize downtime and prevent roadside failures, supporting our clients in keeping their equipment operational.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Heavy Duty Diesel Technician located in Miami, FL. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing heavy-duty and commercial trucks. Daily tasks include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, performing preventative maintenance, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, and addressing issues with various vehicle systems such as engines, brakes, suspension, and more. This role plays a vital part in maintaining equipment safety, operational efficiency, and minimizing downtime for clients.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Vehicle Maintenance practices
  • Experience with Equipment Repair and Heavy Equipment operations
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and technical vehicle systems
  • Familiarity with diagnostics tools and repair plans for heavy-duty vehicles
  • Understanding of DOT compliance and commercial vehicle safety standards
  • Ability to work on engines, brakes, suspension, electrical, cooling, and drivetrain components
  • ASE certification or equivalent technical certification is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to completing repairs efficiently
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
