Inter Miami CF is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Electrician with extensive service and troubleshooting experience to support stadium operations, offices, and related infrastructure. This role is responsible for maintaining reliable electrical systems to ensure the uninterrupted operation of games, events, and daily facility functions.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesElectrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in power distribution, lighting, and control systems
- Maintain panels, breakers, feeders, disconnects, and switch gear
- Troubleshoot power issues affecting stadium operations and event systems
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Provide electrical support during games, concerts, and special events
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of lighting, scoreboards, broadcast power, and facility systems
- Respond quickly to electrical emergencies during events
- Maintain indoor and outdoor lighting systems, including parking and field lighting
- Service motors, pumps, exhaust fans, and HVAC electrical components
- Support the electrical needs of concession areas, kitchens, offices, and locker rooms
- Assist with backup generators and emergency power systems
- Follow NEC and local electrical codes
- Maintain safe work practices and OSHA compliance
- Maintain proper documentation of repairs and inspections
- Work with facility managers, HVAC technicians, and event operations staff
- Coordinate with outside contractors when needed
- Minimum 10 years of electrical service experience in commercial or industrial environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills for power, lighting, and motor systems
- Experience working on live facilities with minimal downtime
- Knowledge of NEC and safety standards
- Ability to read electrical drawings and panel schedules
- Experience with 120/208V and 277/480V systems
- Experience with motors, motor starters, and control circuits
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and event schedules
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Experience working in stadiums, arenas, or large public facilities
- Experience with generators and UPS systems
- Familiarity with building automation systems
- Lift certification or experience operating lifts
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and rooftops
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Standard maintenance hours plus event coverage
- Nights, weekends, and holidays required during events
