Maintenance Worker, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic, HVAC Tech ​/ Heating Engineer

Overview

HEICO Component Repair Group, a global leader in the overhaul and repair of aircraft components, is currently looking for a Maintenance Worker to join our facility operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable, hands-on individual who enjoys solving problems, maintaining equipment, and contributing to a safe and efficient workplace environment.

• Perform a variety of tasks to maintain, repair, and improve the facility and its equipment, including basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance; respond to service requests in a timely manner.
• Manage all equipment maintenance on test stands, compressors, chillers, etc.
• Work closely with department supervisors to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist with facility upgrades or emergency repairs as needed.
• Support daily operations and maintain a clean, functional, and safe work environment across all areas of the facility.

• Understanding in electrical work
• Understanding in general plumbing
• Out-of-the-box thinker
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Preferred experience with welding
• Preferred experience troubleshooting and maintaining pumps and motors
• Preferred experience with forklifts
• Preferred experience troubleshooting and maintaining HVAC units
