Schedule:
Monday - Friday (11:00am - 7:30pm)
Wage: $35-$39/hr
LEAD THE MUSCLE BEHIND EVERY MOVING PART AT THE AIRPORT- LEAD MECHANICS WANTED!The Lead Mechanic oversees vehicle and equipment maintenance, supervises a team of mechanics, and ensures safe, efficient repairs to support airport operations.
WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A LEAD MECHANIC- Supervise and coordinate mechanics in the maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Ensure all repairs comply with safety standards and regulations
- Conduct quality inspections and provide expert guidance on repairs
- Train and mentor junior mechanics and technicians
- Manage parts and tools inventory and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Exemplify Prime Flight customer service and safety standards
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a valid state‑issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- 5 years of experience as a mechanic, with a strong background in vehicle and equipment maintenance, preferably in an airport or similar industrial setting
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a mechanical maintenance environment
- In‑depth knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to mentor and train staff in mechanical maintenance techniques
- Flexibility to work in different shifts and respond to emergency maintenance needs
- Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including iPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in‑person and through electronic means
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal‑ as applicable)
- Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
