The Linesman reports to Senior Linesman and is responsible for securing/releasing the ships lines by guiding and leading the mooring team. The Linesman will also assist in moving cargo, stores,and equipment. In this role they must be able to efficiently undertake the cleaning,maintenance and conservation of the destination’s pier installation and equipment.

The Linesman must have a practical mind and manual dexterity, being able towork efficiently with attention to detail.

Clear communication both verbal and written is of the utmost importancealong with compliance to all company policies and a safety first culture.

Those assigned to this position shall work with Management, Supervisors, and other Team Members to understand and comply withthe company's environmental policies and be committed to safeguard the environment. If any environmental systemdoes not function properly, the Senior Linesman will directly and immediatelyinform their Supervisor.
