Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Two years of experience operating heavy construction equipment to include backhoe, excavator, lowboy and payloader are required. Must possess a CDL/Class
A. Must obtain a Tanker endorsement during the probationary period. An operator proficiency test will be administered during the interview selection process.
Recruitment Notes
This is skilled work in the operation of heavy duty earth-moving equipment.
Employees in this class must be able to operate large diesel-powered vehicles s uch as the Excavator, Front End Loader, Back Hoe (Combination) and the Low Boy, used in varied maintenance and construction tasks. Duties include digging trenches to replace and install various size wastewater sewer pipes and transporting the heavy equipment to the work sites.
