Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Residential Patrol Shift Lead in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming environment for residents and guests.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the residential location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities within the residential community to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to residents and visitors.
- Complete required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
- Work collaboratively with property management and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
