The assessments that this team produces will provide crucial frameworks for SOCAFRICA’s campaign and strategic plans. Additionally, the team’s products will enable SOCAFRICA to effectively justify resource requirements, and to adapt strategies, plans, and engagement activities achieving their strategic goals and assigned missions with the goal of optimizing the operational effectiveness of U.S., Allies, and partner nation SOF. Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental analyses and monitoring of threats across Africa and leverage understanding of AFRICOM, partner forces, and adversarial military and Violent Extremist Organization capabilities to provide forecasts of these threats and promote the survivability of Special Operations personnel.
- Develop research and data collection plans to support assessment methodology.
- Leverage advanced technologies, tools, and analytic principles to support SOCAF with producing strategic assessments.
- Prepare, analyze, and visualize large volumes of data to perform descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analysis.
- Effectively communicate assessment insights to myriad diverse audiences.
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred)
- At least 4 years of intelligence analysis experience
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of relevant and related experience
- Knowledge of Measures of Performance/Effectiveness development and data collection
- Experience with Africa AOR
- Experience performing campaign assessments
- Experience with data visualization tools such as R, Python, and Tableau is preferred
