OverviewFull‑time Project Manager responsible for coordinating and leading complex research activities in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The role operates on a hybrid schedule with fieldwork in either New York City or Miami. The project manager ensures efficient data collection, study administration, and compliance with applicable guidelines.
Core Functions- Aids in the evaluation of workflow problems and develops analytical approaches.
- Maintains multiple protocol books and manuscript preparation.
- Performs analyses of computerized datasets using standard packages.
- Presents study results at professional scientific meetings and conferences.
- Writes manuscripts and journal articles for peer‑reviewed medical journals.
- Ensures research program objectives are communicated, met, and documented.
- Adheres to University and unit‑level policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required; previous grant management experience preferred.
- Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data with effective presentation.
- Problem recognition, analysis, and solution across varied scenarios.
- Critical decision‑making with sound judgment.
- Poise and escalation of matters appropriately.
- Team collaboration and direct/indirect communication.
- Effective communication and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
- Complete quarterly and annual report submissions.
- Assist with proposal submissions and liaison with Psychiatry’s Pre‑award team.
- Complete contract submissions and liaison with contract stakeholders.
- Complete IRB/Regulatory submissions and maintain informed consent processes.
- Manage Workday financial operations, including purchases and reimbursements.
- Coordinate, maintain, analyze, and report study enrollment and grant finances.
- Participate in hiring and supervision of research team members.
