Hidden Gem Artisanal Spirits is a curated portfolio of distinctive, high-quality spirits brands positioned for premium on-premise and specialty retail placement. Our focus is on craft-driven producers, compelling brand stories, and margin-positive products that deliver strong repeat velocity.
We are expanding our footprint in Houston and seeking an experienced, independent sales professional to represent our portfolio as an addition to their existing book of business.
Position OverviewThis is a commission-only, independent sales role for a seasoned wine and/or spirits sales professional currently representing other brands in the Houston market.
We are not seeking entry-level candidates. The ideal partner already maintains:
- An active portfolio of wine and/or spirits brands
- Established relationships with Houston-area buyers
- Regular on-premise and/or off-premise sales routes
Hidden Gem Artisanal Spirits will serve as an incremental revenue opportunity that integrates seamlessly into your current sales calls, allowing you to maximize account penetration and commission earnings.
Key Responsibilities- Present and sell the Hidden Gem portfolio to on-premise and off-premise accounts in Houston
- Leverage existing buyer relationships to secure placements and menu features
- Conduct staff trainings, tastings, and brand education when appropriate
- Identify new account opportunities aligned with premium spirits positioning
- Coordinate with distributor partners (if applicable) to ensure order fulfillment and follow-through
- Maintain consistent sales activity and reporting
- High-end cocktail bars
- Fine wine & spirits retailers
- Chain accounts
Required:
- Currently active as an independent wine and/or spirits sales representative in Houston
- Existing portfolio of complementary brands
- Established relationships with beverage buyers in Houston
- Proven sales track record in premium or craft categories
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial
- Experience launching emerging brands
- Ability to execute brand-building in competitive markets
- Deep understanding of Houston’s on-premise landscape
- 100% commission-based
- Performance-based incentives may be available
