Sales Representative

We are a long-established distributor of Japanese and Asian food products across North America, serving retailers, restaurants, and national chains through a growing distribution network. The Sales Representative supports this growth through route-based sales in the Miami area, focusing on customer relationships, product recommendations, delivery coordination, and identifying new business opportunities while ensuring consistent, high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit customers regularly to promote products and maintain strong relationships
• Answer questions on products, pricing, availability, and delivery
• Recommend products based on customer needs and interests
• Generate quotes, estimates, and sales orders
• Follow up after sales to resolve issues and provide ongoing support
• Identify new customers through referrals, directories, and trade events
• Coordinate product deliveries and route schedules
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and product innovations
• Prepare sales reports, budgets, and expense documentation
• Use a company vehicle for daily route sales
• Handle physical product movement (lifting up to 50 lbs)

Requirements

• 5-10 years of professional sales experience
• Business-level Spanish and English required
• Food sales experience required;
  Asian food experience strongly preferred
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs daily
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle
• Must live within 45 minutes of the Miami-area location or be willing to relocate
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel); internal system experience a plus
• Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working independently
